Dave Procter (UK/SE) is a busy travelling and touring musician, often dropping by CP’s Studio Skrat in Copenhagen, which inevitably led to the two making music together. The duo concentrates on long form noisedrone, using laptops to manipulate field recordings, pedals, Casio SK-1, tapes, vinyl, amplified objects and feedback. They play one concert and make one release every year, five years so far.
Their fifth release “Parallel Perspectives” was recorded january 2020 in Copenhagen. The single track is an extension of Procter’s Fibonacci Drone Organ super minimalistic project, with Poulsen adding overdubs, quickly forgetting the minimalistic nature of the piece and derails it with waves of half speed vinyl and samples. Anyway, the resulting piece turned out very satisfying with a kind of backward logic to the form.
